I'm Rebecca Jackson
I'm the Founder & Creator of Dazzling District Inc. and I'm a self-proclaimed Self-Care Fanatic with a passion for encouraging personalizing self-care to ignite the Dazzling Spark inside your soul!
My most valuable roles are wife to my husband and business partner Chris, and girl mom times FOUR to my sweet, smart, spirited, and spunky daughters!

in faith is essential to living a
life of divine purpose!
Our Beginning
This
brand & mission were both born out of necessity. In my own life, there was a need to change the trajectory of who I was becoming; after having realized I had reached a personal low in self-value. As a result of running dangerously low in the self-care department, for a ridiculously long time, I had zero Dazzling left in me:
mind, body or spirit.
I had no endurance to continue maintaining my domestic duties at any level, let alone at the towering level I had been managing up until then; void of all genuine
living, loving & laughing. I was running out of steam and in total survival mode. Lastly, the dreamer in me was on the verge of extinction.
My heart was so lost in the past, I could no longer see any
onward, upward or forward.
I had always been a creative person and a dreamer, but I was in a desperate place & God knew it. He began using my love of words to completely change my life. Now, before I can go forward in explaining Dazzling District's mission, allow me to briefly give a little backstory....
Mental Illness has been a piece of my own personal story for much of my life. My first textbook anxiety attack occurred in the middle of the day in high school, when I was barely 16, and it was terrifying. I do believe that anxiety has been one (of a few) of the villains in my fairytale for many years, even before that very first identifiable attack. A longtime ago, I thought I had made peace with the fact that my fairytale wouldn't be the "Happily Ever After" I had dreamed for much of my childhood that it would be. I was wrong though; I had not made peace with any of it back then. Worse, this realization hit me like a ton of bricks, in my most depleted state, after many seasons of living in the version of me I thought, I was supposed to live in.
Basically, I was surrounded by blessings, but still drowning all the same. It soon became clear to me that instead of making peace with my new fairytale as it had unfolded, I instead, had remained very confused in my direction, very lost in my own identity, and only a shadow of my true self. I was almost 35 and I had no idea who I was. Like, at all. That's when this brand was born to me & though I didn't know it yet......it was also when my mission began!
Just like that, 3 words changed my thinking and set in motion my life's mission.
What started as a simple update to a Hobby Blog for me,
The Dazzling Domestic Dreamer (that you can
visit HERE),
rapidly turned into a season of self-discovery that became a much larger vision,
a "3D Vision for Living" as I have come to call it.
After creating & implementing this "3D Vision" in my own life, I quickly felt led to share it,
in hopes of helping others get in touch with their own personal Dazzling Domestic Dreamer.
My mission is to bring together a community of Dazzling Women,
of all walks of life, and together, ENCOURAGE each other to make peace with our pasts,
so we can go confidently forward, dazzling in our own unique way,
not drowning in domestic duties, & fully in touch with our inner dreamer & the desires of our hearts.
