If you're already familiar with my 7 Step Method, then keep on reading for seven super simple ways to begin implementing the 7 Step Method in just 7 days this spring, to spoil yourself, and fill you up!!!
My apologies, again... I'm starting to regret posting a schedule back in January. 😅 But seriously, I started working with a mindset coach unexpectedly in February, and it has played a small role in me losing focus and momentum on my blogging! She has me working on a more focused plan to execute my vision for Dazzling District inc. In doing so, I've gotten so excited about the projects I'm working on towards that vision plan we've created in our coaching sessions, that I nearly completely forgot to write my March, getting it out late. Then my husband hurt himself, and my April issue got put on the backburner so, this one is coming a little late too! With this being a holiday edition, I wanted to still get it to you for Holy Week. My May edition should post as scheduled again, provided I don't face anymore monkey wrenches. Because of the progress I've made in my mindset coaching, I launched a brand-new sales page on March 20th! I launched it just in time for you to have easy access to my unique digital products, downloadable journals and booklets created to aid you on your Dazzling Quest as summer quickly approaches, and the kiddo's get closer to summer break!
You can find that sales page here to access those tools for yourself!
Spring is about renewal and rebirth. Along these lines spring can be a great time for cleaning and detoxing as well. I wrote a blog back in 2021 about detoxing your mind and one about detoxing your spirit. These are both practices that I've tried to incorporate into my life intentionally each spring. You can read the mind blog HERE and you can read the spirit one HERE. This month's 7 in 7 is going to be focused on the self-care practices inspired by spring and, more specifically, by Easter. Easter is a spiritual holiday celebrating the resurrection of Christ. Inspired by the resurrection, I want to encourage you to resurrect a calmer, more cared for you! I'm sharing this month's installment of my reoccurring blog series, "7 Steps in 7 Days" to offer solutions for weaving my 7 Step Method into your Holy Week, with more ease this Easter. I've put together a week's worth of ways for you to practice some bonus self-care this month, in the middle of your everyday life. The goal this month is super simple but effective ways to help you prioritize you! Whether you practice them all this Holy Week or spread them out from now until next month, these ideas may help you fill your cup first this Easter! I hope you enjoy and have a Happy Easter!
Filling Your Cup First
one day at a time.
Seven steps in seven days.
It just makes sense to me.
Here is the Spring 7 Steps in 7 Days:
Sunday: Back to the Basics
This
"Sunday Soak" I want you to soak some fruit, be it berries or citrus. Get yourself a pitcher and drop some berries or citrus slices in the bottom before filling it with water. We could all do with drinking more water, and I challenge you to do so this way and freshen it up a bit. A super vital, basic part of taking care of yourself is to consume enough water except basic doesn't have to be boring. In honor of Jesus, the living water, let's improve our water consumption this week in a tasty, fruity way to help our body ensure effective hydration, supporting recovery and a regulated nervous system.
Monday: Mindfulness Moment
For our "Monday Mindfulness Moment" this month my desire is for you to be Mindful in your faith. Grab a notebook or journal and practice a 10-minute mind dump. Set a timer & begin dumping your mind, in no specific order. What do you believe and why? Dump your thoughts about your spiritual beliefs on the page until the timer goes off, then step away & just breathe... be present in the moment and mindful of those beliefs. Maybe you have a specific theme you'd like to explore further? Healing? Self-Love? Spiritual topics like chakra's, sacred spaces, or creative outlets? If you're seeking focused journaling, or thought purging, visit my digital download store to shop my personal creative solutions.
Tuesday: Do Something Little for You
Today is
"Treat Yourself Tuesday"! It's the time of the week where I give you permission to spoil yourself just a little bit, for taking time intentionally every day to improve your care. Easter is about here! Just days away! In my home that means many decadent food traditions are in the works. To start celebrating Easter, treat yourself to some guilt free holiday food, be it sweet or savory, I don't care! Enjoy it in moderation & don't get too egg-cited or you'll be one sick Bunny! Holiday food can be rich and high calorie. I challenge you to add a fresh, bright dish or two into the mix this holiday week too!
So, not terribly scary or overwhelming to apply to your week so far, right?
The second half of the week is when things start to get real fun!
Wednesday: Get a Hobby
For this month's "Wednesday Workshop" we're going traditional for Easter. Grab some eggs, if you can find them, or draw some egg shapes on paper, then get to decorating! Get creative with some fun egg coloring methods. Whether you are painting wooden eggs, paper mâché eggs, or real eggs. Decorate them in your kitchen, dining room, craft space, or even just outside in your yard, so you can soak up the spring sunshine to warm your soul while you color your eggs.
Thursday: Get Your A$$ Moving
As the holiday weekend approaches, this "Thick Thighs Thursday" was chosen to encourage you to get moving intentionally for physical wellness. Take a walk and observe the beauty of the outdoors, as spring sprouts around you. If you feel compelled and capable, pick up your pace to a jog or even a run instead, and let yourself sweat a little!
Friday: Dream Big
The weekend is here and that means that it's "Friday Funday"! Head into the weekend daydreaming about how you can continue to grow this spring! Take some time to consider how you want to alter &/or improve your self-care over the next few months. Don't wait another season to clean up your self-care practices, habits & rituals! Begin nurturing them NOW! If you take time to do this intentionally the next few months, you could be shiny, dazzling & true by June!
Saturday: Rest, Reflect, Reevaluate, & Restart
Celebrate
"Self-Care Saturday" by reflecting, relaxing & recharging yourself Darling! I hope 2025 is off to an incredible start! I also hope that you have truly begun to prioritize yourself more! In keeping with the spring renewal and refresh theme, how can you continue to easily & efficiently do this in even more creative and specific ways throughout 2025 to ensure your habits and practices are refreshed and renewing to your spirit, your body, and your mind!

As I was creating, developing, and fine-tuning my 7-step method to fill my own cup first, it quickly became apparent to me that it was perfectly aligned to 7 days in a week. After launching the brand and beginning my first iteration of the Coffeetalk Newsletter, I created a monthly column sharing how you could challenge yourself through the week and accomplish something for each step in a single week using the 7 Step in 7 Day practice. It was so fun that I decided to turn this into a regular seasonal blog to share. This year I will experiment with a monthly seasonal approach to consistently producing it and will post them according to the following schedule:
