I want to give you some easy ideas to

Begin practicing the 7 Step Method in just 7 days!

If you aren't already familiar with my 7 Step Method to Fill Your Cup First, then check out the blog post that I wrote at the very beginning of 2021 HERE to get comfortable with the method.

If you're already familiar with my 7 Step Method, then keep on reading for seven super simple ways to begin implementing the 7 Step Method in just 7 days this spring, to spoil yourself, and fill you up!!!

My apologies, again... I'm starting to regret posting a schedule back in January. 😅 But seriously, I started working with a mindset coach unexpectedly in February, and it has played a small role in me losing focus and momentum on my blogging! She has me working on a more focused plan to execute my vision for Dazzling District inc. In doing so, I've gotten so excited about the projects I'm working on towards that vision plan we've created in our coaching sessions, that I nearly completely forgot it was already March! Fortunately, I'm still dropping this blog just barely before Spring has officially sprung! Because of the progress I've made through the mindset coaching, I am launching a brand-new sales page tomorrow on March 20th! I'm launching just in time for you to have easy access to my unique digital products, downloadable journals and booklets created to aid you on your Dazzling Quest!

Spring is about renewal and rebirth. Along these lines spring can be a great time for cleaning and detoxing as well. I wrote a blog back in 2021 about detoxing your mind and one about detoxing your spirit. These are both practices that I've tried to incorporate into my life intentionally each spring.  You can read the mind blog HERE and you can read the spirit one HERE. This month's 7 in 7 is going to be focused on the self-care practices inspired by spring. Spring is a magical time of year where life begins waking up all around us. Animals waking from long winter slumbers. The trees and the plants all sprouting new signs of life, that will soon be bright, colorful leaves and flowers. I'm sharing this month's installment of my reoccurring blog series, "7 Steps in 7 Days" to offer solutions for weaving my 7 Step Method into your weeks, with more ease this month while finding ways to do so in nature. Inspired by the magic that spring brings, I've put together a week's worth of ways for you to practice some bonus self-care this month, in the middle of your everyday life. Whether you practice them all in one week, spread them out from now until next month, or only practice one or two over the course of the month and then a couple more next month, these ideas may help you fill your cup first this spring! I hope you enjoy!

Filling Your Cup First

one day at a time.

Seven steps in seven days.

It just makes sense to me.

Here is the Spring 7 Steps in 7 Days:

Sunday: Back to the Basics

This "Sunday Soak" brings a new "spin" then you're used to. Get your sheets and curtains off all of your beds and windows, then give them a good soak in water with a few drops of lavender essential oil before washing them. Often the linens in your home get overlooked in all the household cleaning. When they get overlooked during the winter they collect dust. Dusty, stale linens is no way to have your household linens as the weather finally warms and the windows begin to get opened up. We don't want that stale dust blowing all over your home. Freshen them up! If lavender isn't your favorite relaxing scent, then pick one you love. I appreciate bergamot, citruses, vanilla, or a simple cotton/linen scent.
Monday: Mindfulness Moment

For our "Monday Mindfulness Moment" this month my desire is for you to be Mindful and not Mind Full. Grab a notebook or journal and practice a 10-minute mind dump. Set a timer & begin dumping your mind, in no specific order. Dump your thoughts on the page until the timer goes off, then step away & just breathe... Maybe you have a specific theme you'd like to explore further? Healing? Self-Love? Spiritual topics like chakra's, sacred spaces, or creative outlets? If you're seeking focused journaling, or thought purging, visit my digital download store to shop my personal creative solutions.

Tuesday: Do Something Little for You

Today is "Treat Yourself Tuesday"! It's the time of the week where I give you permission to spoil yourself just a little bit, for taking time intentionally every day to improve your care. Easter is almost here! Just a month away! In my home that means many decadent food traditions. To start celebrating Easter, treat yourself to some guilt free holiday food, be it sweet or savory, I don't care! Enjoy it in moderation & don't get too egg-cited or you'll be one sick Bunny!

So, not terribly scary or overwhelming to apply to your week so far, right?

The second half of the week is when things start to get real fun!

Wednesday: Get a Hobby

For this month's "Wednesday Workshop" we're growing our vocabulary with some fun word play. Pick up a word search or crossword puzzle book from the local discount store, or take the word play digital with an app instead. The goal is to play with words for this month's hobby to grow your brain! Pick your word play way, and head to a park, or even just outside in your yard, so you can soak up the spring sunshine to warm your soul while you grow your brain.

Thursday: Get Your A$$ Moving

As the outdoors continue to bloom & blossom, this "Thick Thighs Thursday" was chosen to encourage you to continue to explore outside. Don't just hit the yard though. This time I want you to get on some boots, or safe tennis shoes, and head outside somewhere with a trail for a nice spring nature hike! Find some new blooms and blossoms this month while you hike up a sweat, have your phone charged and ready or a camera on hand to snap some photos of spring around you!

Friday: Dream Big

The weekend is here and that means that it's "Friday Funday"! Head into the weekend daydreaming about how you can continue to grow this spring! Take some time to consider how you want to alter &/or improve your self-care over the next few months. Don't wait another season to clean up your self-care practices, habits & rituals! Begin nurturing them NOW! If you take time to do this intentionally the next few months, you could be shiny, dazzling & true by June!

Saturday: Rest, Reflect, Reevaluate, & Restart

Celebrate "Self-Care Saturday" by reflecting, relaxing & recharging yourself Darling! I hope 2025 is off to an incredible start! I also hope that you have truly begun to prioritize yourself more! In keeping with the spring renewal and refresh theme, how can you continue to easily & efficiently do this in even more creative and specific ways throughout 2025 to ensure your habits and practices are refreshed and renewing to your spirit, your body, and your mind!

If you haven't yet signed up to get on the Dazzling District mailing list so you can receive the monthly newsletter and other occasional communications, do so using THIS LINK. Don't wait, you'll be disappointed you did! PLUS Coffeetalk made a comeback in a flashy, fun new way last year and I hope to release it more consistently in 2025 as I step up my publishing game this year! Finally, thank you so much for being patient with me through the creating, defining, and building of this company, and for showing back up for me here with every new blog post! The repeat readers, loyal followers, and each active member of this little dazzling community mean the world to me. I appreciate you more than you'll ever know! Happy Valentine's Day!

As I was creating, developing, and fine-tuning my 7-step method to fill my own cup first, it quickly became apparent to me that it was perfectly aligned to 7 days in a week. After launching the brand and beginning my first iteration of the Coffeetalk Newsletter, I created a monthly column sharing how you could challenge yourself through the week and accomplish something for each step in a single week using the 7 Step in 7 Day practice. It was so fun that I decided to turn this into a regular seasonal blog to share. This year I will experiment with a monthly seasonal approach to consistently producing it and will post them according to the following schedule:
